The album features the hit single "Spin". It had sales of over 500,000 in the United States and has also sold over 2 million copies worldwide to date. Like their first album, ''Stanley Climbfall'' was produced by Ron Aniello. The album has also been noted for being the heaviest album by Lifehouse to date. Unlike their other albums, ''Stanley Climbfall'' features a more complex and heavier rock sound. The band has not returned to this sound after this album failed commercially.
